While I don't disagree, I am amazed how many of the bike lanes are IN the door zone with cars parked just to the right of the bike lane. What do you (all) suggest in these cases?

Middle of bike lane I am in door zone. On the left side of the bike lane I am clear from MOST doors (large door on a 2-door or poorly parked car would probably still get you). of course the further left in the bike lane you go the close I am to the moving traffic. So to avoid the door zone for a possible door opening I am putting myself close to the fast moving traffic and hoping nobody sways to far right onto the line and takes me out. I tend to stay left of center, but not quite on the far left, look for people in cars, and if I see/hear a big truck coming behind me move a bit further right till it passes. Curious how others would handle the same.
