I just saw the thread pop up so I thought I'd offer some advice. The rims are 30mm deep, not wide. The brake track on the rim is angled to allow us to fit a better aerodynamic shape into the rim. The angle is very small and does not effect braking in any way. The top of the brake track is 24.0mm and the bottom of the brake track is 25.82mm. During our testing at the A2 wind tunnel, the 23mm Continental GP 4000s was the fastest tire. I am currently riding these tires and cannot recommend them enough.
