It's a bit loose. I just made a little clip to hold them together, and then it's fine. They hold together OK most of the time but I've had them fall apart. I think if I just velcro'd up the ends they'd stay plugged in OK anyway - they fall apart if it's real bumpy and I have the connectors joining in the middle of the top tube so they're pulling apart as they are bouncing.
