I'd break it down to load and post trip use, if you're on the utilitarian side expecting to carry lots for the trip as well as truck like use afterwards get the 26" wheel LHT and enjoy the clown like proportions. If you expect to carry a medium sized load for the trip and enjoy unloaded road riding get the 520.
