ClemY said it best for me. buy the frame and build it up from there. Work closely with your local shop to get the thing built right. I have never found a pre-built bike that I was satisfied with. That said I have also been fortunate enough to have hung around enough bike shops to have learned how to build a bike. If you don't have those skills that's ok the LBS should be more then happy to work with you.
