I've searched, most threads are from years ago. I recently moved to Scranton from Philly (too many people getting shot for my tastes now that I have kids). I should have probably posted this in clydesdales or commuters (as I am fat and out of shape due to said kids), but figured most folks who ride drop bar bikes stop in here on occasion. Due to the weather being ridiculous, I haven't had time to check out any routes, anyone from here ride? I haven't seen a single road bike in 5 years of visiting here. I haven't been to any local shops because I haven't needed to yet. The roads around here seem dangerous as ****, there is no shoulder at all, but with the surrounding mountains, there's got to be some nice routes with elevation and a way to get out of town.
