I just don't agree with the whole ban thing except in the most extreme cases. I've been visiting lots of different forums pretty much since the internet started and you rarely see moderating as aggressive as it is here on BF.
I guess if we don't like the way the forum is being run we have two options:
1. Organize a coup d'état and take over the forum, or
2. We can start our own forum.
I have really crossed the line more than a few times and gotten into a few flame wars that brought me close to being banned. But like I wrote before, I know enough to recognize when I am wrong and have no problem apologizing.
