When I recall how I had to apply sticky sunblock lotion every time riding bike in hot summer days, winter cycling has another merit.
I never used any sunblock on commute rides in the summer. Even at just over an hour ride home I never did burn, just got some nice cyclist tan lines.
I definitely do use it on longer rides, and absolutely on most every ride I did while in Destin last August.
