Thanks for the great advice everyone. You all were spot on, not a worth while upgrade at all.

I did, however, buy new tires. Bontrager AW2 28mm, going down from my original 35mm Bontrager H2.
Made for a nice change in ride, definitely roll easier with only a slight increase in harshness. Feel more grip, especially on the corners.
Love the new tires.
