are you sure you don't have a maltuned RD, due to cable stretch? or possibly a stuck chainlink?

I know my campy setup was shifting pretty crappily after cable stretch screwed things up. If it's cable stretch, that's fixable in a couple minutes, with the chain off...it's easier in my opinion to adjust the rear deraileur with the chain off, then put the chain back on for the final fine-tuning.
