IIRC I put one finger on a wall. Funny story: I was skiing on a university team, and a guy on the football squad thought my team were a bunch of skinny wimps. He challenged me to a one-legged duel. Football teams do a lot of weight work, as you know. He dropped out at 100 (very good), but I couldn't resist a little nose-rubbing. I hadn't really done them before, other than a few here and there for kicks. What's hard for me now is holding the lazy leg straight out in front of me. Of course I can't do all that many anymore, either. Those were the days. I lived on a one-block steep hill. When I could kick up it in my running shoes without getting out of breath, I knew I was ready to race.
