If I recall, the bike looks great but when examined closely, is found to be one of those vehicles that were to be retired via an earlier economic stimulus initiative, where papers were signed after the PO certified, under penalty of perjury, that the entire contents of the provided fast-setting concrete mix container were in fact poured into the frame, or until the frame was full.
Many such cycles clog the Craigslist listings, since the cycles were never required to have been subsequently crushed, as were the cars with similarly-treated engine blocks.

It gives one the willies to think of what our local police departments must have committed to do to earn their share of the stimulus money.
But no one ever discusses that.
