Some tool on another thread claimed the EVO was a harsh ride. I was all over that...he obviously never rode one. My 14 EVO 3 is on lay way. But I rode a friend's and loved it.

I rode my buddy's SS Evo Hi Mod around a parking lot (wanted to try Di2 for the first time). It was way too small for me but the ride was smoother than my Madone. I don't think I've ever read a review that had anything negative to say about Evos, either regular or hi mod.
