I have no need for and eleven or twelve out back with a 52 or 53 tooth big ring up front. If there were more cassettes in the say, 13 or 14 to 27 or 28 range in nine or ten speed I would consider upgrading.
They make 9 speed with 11, 12, 13 & 14T small cogs.
Take another cassette with the largest cogs you desire and make your own.
It's really quite simple.
I'm going to make up a 13-28/30 for my next vacation trip where I have a couple big hills back in the old hometown that I like to "conquer" in my older years. Ones I could never ride up when I was a kid.
I also swap a bit between winter & summer.
