Cycleops Fluid 2 is a very nice unit and I don't think you can go wrong with it - get a used one. I highly recommend rollers, but if you're not ready to make that leap, get into a used KK or Fluid 2.
I've had a set of Minoura small-diameter "Action" rollers for around 3 years. I've also trained extensively on the road, and in a private training facility on both the Cateye CS1000 (previously mentioned) and Tacx Satori. The reason I'm in the market for a trainer is my coach and I have gone separate ways and I'm no longer attending his training sessions.

The bearings on my rollers have long since needed to be replaced and offer quite a bit of resistance (equal to the Tacx Satori on level 2 or so).
