Made it out today in -17 (-21 with wind chill). Had a few new experiences:

- inside of my ski goggles iced up. I think it's because when I'm breathing in my balaclava the air is going up into the goggle. So I had to take the balaclava below my nose/mouth a few times
- first 10 minutes all was well, next five my fingers got really cold. I had a medium liner (black diamond) and boarding gortex on top. I stopped in a store for 2 minutes...rest of my ride (1hr+) my fingers were fine. I thought that was odd...any ideas?
- chemical toe warmers only last an hour and a bit in that condition!

Not sure I would go out if much colder. Fortunately the streets were clear and only little wind. But it's better than riding the trainer (I was just about to, then thought...screw it, riding outside!).
