You just have to have the right BCD. If you're running a standard Shimano or Campy road triple, its a 74 BCD. Good selection to be found on ebay:

Any one of them will work. You don't need or want ramps, pins, etc. I have a stainless 26T on our tandem because of the high loads, but I don't think they're made anymore.
