They've still got the queen on all their coins up there. I think they're more English than the US of A. Anyways, both Campy and Shimano make English and Italian BBs. I can't think of any current manufacturer besides Italian ones than use Italian BBs. Part of it is that Italian BBs are in my mind an inferior design due to the thread direction of the fixed cup.
