I used to average a flat every 100 miles, or every 2.5 days. Since I started using Schwalbe Marathon Supremes, in 2009, I have not had one flat, not one! I average about 1000 miles a month, March thru Nov. This, with 35 on the front, and a 40 on he rear, running 92PSI.

Yes, I have picked a lot of hitch hikers out of the tires, but not one has gotten thru. I go thru about one set of tires a year. A rear for sure, front a little longer.
