Yeah, I can read fine without any glasses (near sighted) but when I'm wearing contacts no dice! SO it's weird, I wear reading glasses over contacts but not when I'm not. Yay.
I probably started at about age 43 but it's gotten worse (turning 46 next month). My prescription is actually lessening but my astigmatism appears to have gotten worse in the last year. Go figure.
My contacts do not correct my astigmatism, which is probably one reason I have more trouble reading with them in - my reading glasses are prescription and do account for the astigmatism.
Oh yeah, it's fun.
