Another thought is that fixed gear cycling is unusual in that if you gear down to handle the "up" side of the hill, how are you going to handle the "down" side of the hill? In the 5 or so parts of the U.S. where I've cycled, I've found that right around 70" is perfect for me regardless of terrain.
Yes, just trying to pin-point the demographic. So if we were to get some good data we may find that 70" cyclists would all look like you (physiologically) - answering the questions I'll be using in the same way as-well is the hope
I suppose I have more experience with SQL than with any other programming language. I used it all the time for querying industrial process information.
