That Buzz is a nice bike. If you can get it at a substantial discount, I'd say go for it. My only reservation is the disk brakes. I've been through a bunch of mtn bikes for my son over the past few years as he's grown, and those cheap Tektro disk brakes are a pain to adjust and to keep working correctly. My choice when going into the lower price range of bikes & for the intended use is good old v-brakes. Simple & they work well, even the lower price versions. For your planned riding, you don't need disk brakes.
