I recall Wald making a new strut that is adjustable in length,
and at the bottom has a large and a small hole, the small one would accept a 5mm bolt like the eyelets have.. though it may require a longer spacer to clear your disc caliper ..

there are QR baskets.. the part that stays on the bike hooks over the bars
then braces against the head tube.

the basket handle secures the basket to the support , lifting the handle releases it to be removed.
