Might I suggest you consider a product you don't have to carry?

OTOH- there are many inexpensive products such as for eye care which come in quality bottles that don't leak. You consider using one of these products and transferring the chain lube to the empty bottle.

Many of the sellers of bike chain lubes also use decent bottles that don't leak, so you might see if the local shop or a friend has an ampty bottle he can give you.
