Bike looks immaculate for 35 years, looks like you bought it yesterday. No doubt I got more blemishes on my frame than that 35 year old has.
It was a 2-month, evening project. Stripped to the frame, new paint, all bearings replaced, cables replaced, new decals, and so on. Critics here are correct - it was probably never raced. It DID, however, service 2 or more owners faithfully for more than 30 years. And when I'd completely torn it down, rebuilt and ridden it . . . . I understood the charm of these old bikes.
