This is my 1987 SR500 105. I bought it new for $600. I just started riding again last summer after a long hiatus. This bike cost as much as my first car, 1969 Pontiac GTO, which I bought in 1973. The seat is higher and the stem lower now than it was when this photo was taken. I also put the original seat back on, Vetta Turbo.
