Really, the reason for the effort is (1) I hate wearing hats (2) my helmet is so comfortable to me, I didn't want to change the feel (3) I still ride my df from time to time so it needed it to be removable with the original (4) and I was kind of hoping that maybe someone hooked up with Giro might happen to see the need for a visor for recumbents (yeah, I know, not going to happen). A fella can dream can't he? (5) Just had to prove I could do it.
Anyway, I just like to build and make my own contraptions. I'm one of those people that will often see a need and think, how can I fix, design or build that rather than wondering who I can get to do it for me. Built my own house because I don't trust others to do a better job than I can myself and I'm not a contractor.
Yeah I know, I've got a problem.
