These are $310, being cleared out I think. I don't think he'll be unhappy with Alivio, as long as I'm keeping it adjusted and with regular maintenance. If I can get him out on some single track and more challenging mtb trails we'll have some fun.

It's actually kind of cool nowadays in a counter-culture kind of way, but no he's not nearly as enthusiastic about it as I am. He thinks I'm local famous because people tend to know me and my bikes and he wants in on that.
