I am still not convinced that a hockey helmet is not as good as a bike helmet for cycling or for that matter many other things - Allot of times I am appalled at the safety equipment we have to provide for our Scouting activities - There is a separate helmet for just about everything - climbing helmet, cycling helmet, skating helmet, boarding helmet, skiing helmet, baseball helmet, hockey helmet, kayaking helmet - I am sure many of these activities could share a helmet effectively (hockey helmet in mind) allowing more funds for the real special helmets like in football...

Sorry - Not meaning to HyJack...

After my last accident I don't think I would ride without a helmet ever again - But don't get me wrong - I am not one of those mandatory helmet guys...
no helmet for me, i like to live my life on the edge.....

the only time i wear a helmet is at hockey, and this is mainly because it has a visor. That visor has probably saved me enough times from people's crazy sticks.
