I enjoy my 17 lb. carbon bike for the way it catapults me forward when asked. I enjoy the older steel-framed Nashiki for the way it drives down a descent like a freight train, absorbs bumps that would be catastrophic to a 700 x 23 tube and tire, and provides an unsurpassed sight-seeing platform on a Sunday morning.
These are not women, they're machines. Any attempt to compare the two is superfluous and silly. You should get out more. :-)
That comparison always pushes my buttons, too. Well said.
