I walked to the post office yesterday and the temperature was 42 degrees. That isn't rare but it is eight degrees above average. I'll take it. The rest of the week looks to be a bit below average. I just hope the next batch of snow misses us. Since I'm in the middle of the Rocky Mountains the weather patterns are affected by them. Sometimes the mountains split the clouds and they go around the town.

We have had one record cold temperature this year. I would prefer to experience a high temperature record in the winter. It is amazing but seeing a 75 degree record in a past winter just looks unbelievable.
