Just got a new rear wheel (Shimano R500) to use with by turbo trainer. After one short ride, it sounds like the following recording: https://www.dropbox.com/s/odz99mcml4...l%20noise1.m4a .. Actually it might have been like that when I got it, not much freewheeling going on with the trainer. Just noticed it when I had it in the stand to adjust the gears. It also makes the bike rock in the stand in the same frequency as the noise coming from the freehub.
Can anyone tell from the sound what's up? Is it broken?
