First, there is something wrong in a relationship where there are secrets such as you talk about. Time to have an in depth conversation. Get some help if needed.

Second, you get run over by a vehicle or some other nasty and fatal thing happens she needs to know how much money is involved. My experience is that people who act like this have other relationship destroying things going on. Hope you are the exception.
