When I have listed bikes like the Gazelle on CL I got responses from all over the country. I don't think of my local CL as "local". And once you post a picture on the internet its out there forever. I frequently see my bikes on google images when I do google searches. Every once in a while I get a call or email from someone that is interested in buying a bike that I sold 3 years ago. Some CL ad or BF posting is floating around in "the cloud".
