we don't even have a home yet!!!! Actually, we are in the process of moving from the flatness of FL to the beautiful mountains!

We are looking for a place to buy but are in desparate need of some locale advice! I will be wanting to soley commute by bicycle to work (a residential home on Town Mountain very near downtown) and my other half will be working from home...we are very much into mountain biking and do a bit of "roadie" to keep in shape when the mountains are too flat, the air is a too heavy and the mosquito carry you from the trail (not sure what the agenda will be in Asheville since the MTBing is "dreamy")

Anywho...we are looking for some input of some great neighborhoods to look into that is not too far from Town Mountain (10-15 miles at most) and is close to some MTBing from the back door....

I ride a Santa Cruz Juliana (my 1st bike...a surprise from my beloved after dating a month and riding the trail once...I was beyond hooked!!!) my other gem is a Gunnar Roadie (the traffic down here in SoFla is LOADED with crazies so I have been a bit nervous on that...but I loved the century ride in the Amish country in PA so if I could only get away from the heavy traffic I will be more confident!) Looking for a commuter but putting off the purchase till I know what my commute will be like...that will determine alot I think.

My faster-half rides a Trek (forgot the model #, it is carbon if that counts) MTB, he is looking for a full suspension (Turner Flux seems to be this weeks top model...Titus and Yeti are in the running! any advice on that is always appreciated too) his skinny roller is a Calfee Luna (all decked out waiting to ride a hill)

Can't wait to call Asheville home!!! (and sorry, i tend to babble...hehe)
