It's actually almost four miles by the time you get to the entrance. The facility is so large if you google the address, you end up on the south end. The building is actually at the far north end. I made the mistake a couple of years ago walking and boy was I in for a long round a bout journey. Biking from ferry is easy, just follow the waterfront paths. Driving from ferry pretty simple also if you GPS is.
