9 years ago I almost had a stent inserted for a stone (I've had about a half dozen), but during the cystoscopy prior to install my urologist noticed a bladder tumor and stopped going forward with the stent. A month later I had a resection to remove it. So stones and stents don't have to be a bad thing...
