I live in Richmond and have ridden all of these roads. I'm definitely excited about these courses, although I'm a little disappointed that they didn't include any of the riverside road running along the south side of the river. It's a classic spot to ride and has great views of the city. They also might want to repave the southern turn around point for the RR, those roads (especially wharf) are super rough. As a grad student that also races collegiate for VCU, it's kinda mind blowing to think that the grand tour teams will be riding through campus next year. I'm also excited about nationals because we have a couple guys with legitimate shots at a win.
