I have found that when fulfillment, enjoyment and satisfaction are high, a high paycheck follows. (But it doesn't work in reverse: a high paycheck brings nothing but a high paycheck. If you are unhappy in a job or career, you will be unhappy and a high paycheck will not compensate for it.)
