According the the article I referenced in post #8 , there is no quick release on the front either. I don't remember what size nuts the front wheel uses, but I know it's different that the 15mm bolt on the back. Half-inch, perhaps? And as far as 'releasing' the brake noodle, you can forget that too. It's got cheap stamped-steel sidepull calipers.
