you know next to nothing about chem, and i know next to nothing about engineering. But at least i know enough to be aware that i'm almost ignorant on the subject. It'd be extremely presumptive (and intellectually vapid) of me to think the field of engineering as (whatever pejorative you see fit) because i aced general physics and did well building a mousetrap car.
some chem does require memorization, but it's like learning a language where you need at least some vocab and grammar before you can sound intelligible. You may be surprised to find that p-chem is very equations driven.
I mean, who'd have thought that a class having the word physical in it could entail so much math?
But no numbers, all greek letters!

Seriously though, that's why I liked Pchem more than orgo. Math. My BS is in chem and even I don't think I know ****-all about it.
