As a PChemist, whose graduate degree essentially revolved around measuring and modelling how molecules behavior is governed by those equations, I find PChem is actually quite conceptual. It was very easy to think I understood the basis of Quantum Mechanics. Until I had to teach it to someone. My advisors stressed that we never truly understood something until we could explain it well.
