Just an observation, but I have noticed that the farther up the roadie food chain you go, the more Freddishness you see. Particularly on winter training bikes: fenders, blinkies, lights, frame pumps, 32 spoke box section wheels, saddle bags. You gotta have that stuff to do the long wet rides to BFE and back in January if you want to be driving the break in May.
