I dunno... My state law says: "
5.Rights and duties. A person riding a bicycle or scooter or operating roller skis on a way has the rights and is subject to the duties applicable to the operator of a vehicle," which seems to affirm what LAB succinctly paraphrases in their "Rules of the Road."
What does your state law have to say about bicycles and cyclists...?
