There is a huge sea of naivity soaking this entire thread. Have any of you ever heard the phrase, "The check's in the mail?" People at all levels of business do what they have to in order to make and preserve a sale. Call it "optimistic fabrication of the facts". Call it "lying". It doesn't matter. No matter what OP has been told, he has, in fact, no valid knowledge of when he will receive his bike. Why doesn't matter. Nothing can be done to speed up the process. It will take as long as it takes. If OP can't wait happily, he should cancel the order and look for another bike elsewhere.
