Imans:
This all does not matter if you know the distance of a circular track or go back and forth on a track with a measured distance. It then boils down to the distance you bike in one hour. (regardless of slow downs, acceleration and stops if any)
The distance is not to be disputed because it is measured by independent parties and verified by many. A clock time should not be in dispute.

My Cateye computer never comes up with the same values of this simple statement.
