just before i read your post i was thinking the same thing.
one night i locked my bike to the fance a front of a bar i was drinking in. couple hours later, when unlocking it, i found out someone puked all over my chain, so instead of locking it around my waist i hung the chain on top tube. the chain got caught between fork and spokes fliping me over (i didnt let go of the handelbars i think) and i landed on top of my head.i almost broke my neck and couldnt move for 2 weeks.
