If these are the Performance SE tires, I didn't like them. Worthless in the wet. I went down in the parking lot just doing a pre-ride check and also slid out on a wet corner that day. Took them off after that ride. Be that as it may, I rode 23c Tri-Comps for many years at above 115 and liked them fine that way. 160 lbs. then. Fast tires and my favorite brevet tire. I think they need the pressure to present correctly to the road. Vredestein's new tire line has the same 8 bar minimum. If you don't want that much pressure, run a different tire.
