I've seen a nice set of reynolds 531 forks with 24tpi that are 1". From 25 to 50 pounds and I could find a head set for a 24tpi setup. Just way I was thinking was that I was going to change the fork in the first place and thought I may ads well put a set in that I could get a headset for if you get what I mean. I don't really mind if they're era appropriate I am building a single speed bike for town riding and wanted something effective. With nice tight bearings that also looked the part. I much prefer the look of an old racer converted to a single speed or fixie type rather than the new fixies.
