Bikes: 70s Raleigh Grand Prix

I was working a book signing (Bruce Campbell) - me and my friend/coworked started chatting up a guy in line who is a bartender across the street, so we hook up afterwards and partake in many a free pitcher.

Aside from riding like 6 miles out of my way, I drifted into the curb and into the sidewalk - face first, *twice*. When I stumbled into the house an hour or so before sunrise my face was bleeding.my glasses were broken (I lost a chunk of skin on the bridge of my nose) and I made a bunch of noise, woke up the dogs, my wife. She wasn't happy, or surprised. My sister, getting married in two days and at whose wedding I was a groomsmen (and, subsequently, due to appear in just about every picture) was QUITE PISSED and barely talked to me at the reception.

The photographers photoshopped it all out, though. My favorite part was going into work and telling my boss that the event was a complete failure, a riot had broken out and I got the business end of some fanboy's chainsaw.
